Where nervous system science, embodied practice, and creativity meet.

Hello, and welcome.

I'm Ayalá, a yoga therapist, author, trainer, and educator, and I'm glad you're here.

My work has two connected strands.

Through Ayalayoga, I offer therapeutic support for adults, teens, children and organisations. Through Enchanted Wonders, I provide professional training and creative therapeutic practices for those who work with children and young people.

At the heart of my work is the intention to support people through the body, the nervous system, and  creativity as pathways to regulation, resilience, and growth.

"Ayala is exceptionally patient and attentive, adapting movements so everyone feels supported, regardless of ability. Her calm, reassuring presence makes each class a pleasure, and her depth of knowledge gives real confidence in what you’re being taught. I always leave feeling better in both body and mind."

Where nervous system science meets embodied practice and creativity.

This work sits at the intersection of trauma-informed yoga therapy, nervous system regulation, embodied movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and creativity. Creativity is a core therapeutic pathway, supporting regulation, expression, resilience, and integration.

This integrated approach draws on modern neuroscience, psychotherapy-informed understanding, developmental knowledge, and over two decades of my clinical and educational experience.

About Ayala

I am a trauma-informed yoga therapist, supervisor and lecturer at The Minded Institute, and co-author of Yoga Therapy for Complex Trauma - Working with Child, Adulescant and Adult Client.

My work brings together nervous system science, embodied practice, breathwork, mindfulness, and creativity into a coherent therapeutic and educational approach. I work with individuals, train professionals, and support organisations, always from the same foundation: that the body, the nervous system, and our capacity for curiosity and creativity are central to how we heal, regulate, and grow.

Welcoming you to be nurtured by
compassionate support and mindful connection

"ECYC was wonderful, really amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better teacher for this topic than Ayala and all the guest teachers were so knowledgeable and interesting. The course was a magical and super fun experience. It lived up to my expectations and then delivered even more. I would do it all again in a heart beat."

"Ayala is such a thoughtful and encouraging teacher, and the way she shares yoga overflows with positivity, humanity, curiosity and playfulness. In the gentlest and most lighthearted way, she shared ways for parents to nourish and care for themselves, to engage their children in learning about movement and breathing, and to encourage creativity and confidence."
